PROTEIN (and a giveaway👅)
🦍Building muscle and strength, requires first damaging your muscle (creating lil micro-tears). You damage it to repair and build it stronger. Building, repairing, and maintaining muscle requires protein- this is why it’s very important whether you’re bulking or cutting to make sure your eating enough protein!
🦍Personally, I usually go by 0.8-1g protein/lb of bodyweight. Though I still occasionally struggle get enough through only Whole Foods- which is whereeee @bowmar_nutrition
comes in😛 Protein powder is soO convenient and is my #1
supplement I use/recommend (if you find you’re not consuming enough protein).
🦍I try to get around 20-30g of protein per meal, and after my workouts have some sort of meal or shake within 3 hours. Recently my favoriteee @bowmar_nutrition
flavors have been vegan chocolate almond coconut, wedding cake whey, fruity cereal whey, and vegan banana nut bread🤤🤤
