A month ago I took on a challenge to eat no refined grains, no sugar, no alcohol and to drink more water.
I am not perfect. I slipped up on the first two but what I did eat was very limited and in small quantities. However, I had ZERO alcohol in the last four weeks!! That in itself is an achievement 😆. In preparation l went and had a body scan before and now after to see where my body fat percent and muscle mass levels ended up.
I gained 2lbs of muscle and lost 3% body fat! Woohoo!
How did l achieve these results?
I ate better and upped my protein intake, l worked out for 30 minutes- 5 days a week, I helped my body recover by giving it daily supplements, AND probably one of the most noticable changes for me- l focused on my internal gut health giving it what it needed to thrive better. 🙌
I see those baby abs and that has been one of my lifetime goals. I'm on track and going for it!
