Dear bestie turned husband,
Wow, Husband! I have never addressed you that way, yet. It is still so new and weird.
The whole journey from being arch rivals to best friends to confidants to lovers and to married couples has been such a rollercoaster. As someone who detests rollercoasters I can't believe that I have loved this journey of us so far! And I honestly think that the best is yet to be.
Let me be very clear, we are still best friends first; everything else comes later.
So we'll be our awkward and brutally honest selves at all times. We will still do all the things that we did as friends ( stalking others on social-media, gossiping, pulling each other's legs etc) and will add more things to do as we go along.
I don't know what is going to change, on the outside it doesn't seem like much is going to. But there is this voice in my head saying, it'll all be different now ( yes, it sounds a bit menacing and also like Mogambo). But we'll sail through it, right?
I'll promise you this, I'll continue to love you more with every passing day ( Ugh, so cheesy). Okay, let me try something else.
You know me, so if I'm annoying you, just let me know. I don't promise to cut the crap but I'll tone it down. I'll be around, if i can't be there in person, I'll be around in spirit and in your heart ( Duh! ). Come what may, we'll be fine as long as we stay together ( and that sounds like it's from some song, oh my god I should stop!). Now I'm wondering what I'm supposed to write here that you don't already know of, so I'm going to wrap this up by saying this - don't forget to wear comfortable undies when you go for your run.
See, you laughed.
That's all I ever want.
