We never see ourselves as others see us
Ever heard that quote?
When I look in the mirror that negative self-talk starts.. that’s my inner critic and she’s a bitch.
She tells me I’m fat, I’m old, I don’t know how to dress, my hair is to bushy, the color is to young … etc etc etc
Really we all have one and, for some reason, we listen to her more than we listen to what our loved ones tell us.
No matter how mean, how wrong, how hurtful … We listen to her. .
It’s time to tell that inner critic to GET LOST and we need to LOVE ourselves!
Embrace that AMAZING person that looks back at you from the mirror. Your mirror can actually be your best friend, helping you gain self-confidence no matter what you think you see when you look in it. .
I’ve been trying something that …. Well, can only work towards positive.
It might sound stupid but I try to say nice things ---- A Mirror Mantra if you will
❤ Hello Beautiful! Today is gonna be AWESOME!
❤ Hello Gorgeous – You’re looking AMAZING today
Something else that would be good try:
Look in the mirror with a friend and have them share with you what they see.
We see things so differently than others
No judging here – You friend or loved one is not going to judge you and tell you, you’re fat, your butt is too big or something else negative.
They’ll tell you what THEY see … You’re Beautiful .
Ladies – we need to realize we ARE NOT the negative lies we tell ourselves we are…
All of our lumps and bumps and scars make us who we are
😘 We are AMAZING
😘 We are BEAUTIFUL
😘 WE ARE GOOD ENOUGH
