Nighttime bedside table essentials, from left to right:
Stress Fix Oil: I love this blend of lavender, chamomile and clary sage. I put a few drops of this onto my palms, massage in, cup my hands and inhale deeply - and then I’m out like a light - I wish! I’m still up at least a dozen times every night trying to change positions to get comfy, but this oil is a nighttime ritual in the truest sense. It only takes a few seconds, is so super relaxing and I look forward to it every night.
Face Hero: this famous face oil from a great Australian skincare brand called Go To Skincare has my heart at the moment. It features rosehip, almond, apricot kernel and jojoba oils amongst a bunch of other oils but also manages to be extremely light and doesn’t leave any residue on my pillow. It’s full of fatty acids, which is great for your skin’s moisture barrier and my skin always looks happier in the morning. It doesn’t break me out or trigger sensitivity. It’s a cult favourite for a reason.
Vetiver Water - this is a great toner, but lately I’ve taken to using it as a pillow and sheet spray. I spray copious amounts of this before getting in bed every night. Do you know how lovely it is to sink into sheets that smell like vetiver every night? So lovely! #treatyoself
Tuscany Lemon & Green Tea Organic Lip Balm - it’s buttery, it’s emollient, and I wake up with super soft lips when I use this.
Pear, Chia & Tamanu Eye Roll On - have I told you how I don’t believe in separate eye products? 9 times out of 10, your regular moisturiser will 💯 do just fine. But I figured I’d give it a shot and every once in a while I’ll roll some onto my orbital bone before getting into bed. Jury’s out on this one.
Tea Tree Oil Foot Cream - I’m trying out a few products from this German brand called Alkmene (available at @theskinstore.in
) and one of these is this foot cream. It’s not a magical cream that has made my skin super soft overnight, but better to use a perfectly well formulated product consistently than a magical unicorn product once in a blue moon if you really want results. So far, so good!
