me and my muʻumuʻu ♡ .
in the spirit of lives well lived, legacy, love and sharing i’ve begun listing some of my beloved, well cared for vintage muʻumuʻu in a little sale in my stories - followed by a HL entiled muʻumuʻu .
some you’ve seen this last #muumuumonth
, some years ago + some are entirely new to me - second hand, most vintage + some extremely cherished muʻu i have saved for years. as you’ve seen i’ve accumulated a lot in the past ten years + honestly there’s still more to list + take out of storage - but this past muʻumuʻu month made me realize there are so many other ppl out there that cherish, use + live in muʻu - keeping the tradition + legacy of our kūpuna alive .
so in that collective spirit of love + admiration of their craftsmanship i want to do my part to continue sharing their legacy + not keep a stockpile stored away just because i adore + cherish them - i want them to go on + live lives, to be admired, to be cared for, to make new memories + to bring up conversations of old ones. id love for them to make it back to the ʻohana that know or even made them + i can’t wait to see them well lived in again! .
to all those who have purchased, inquired + shared all my thanks for your support + generosity. for those who missed pieces pls know more are coming + i’ll do my best to keep a look out for others like them - im for sure a muʻumuʻu huntah + i love looking for that special muʻu that someone will love .
i’ve also added a few extra aloha wear pieces + in the future will be expanding the sale to my greater closet as i create a #capsulewardrobe
+ adopt more #minimalism
into my life + wardrobe. check out my stories + upcoming highlight if your interested + mahalo to everyone for your support - your purchases go towards us finally creating our first natural dye collection of muʻumuʻu w/colors, textures + prints inspired but the ʻāina, laʻau + my memories of pāpā growing up here in Hawai’i Nei. you’re support is making this possible, aloha
